The Church of Saint Gregory has a very active Youth Ministry. Children as young as two years of age take part in the Bible Storyhour sessions, complete with crafts and sing-a longs. The school-age children are invited to take part in many Liturgies throughout the year. Some of these special Liturgies include, the Vigil for All Saint's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Vigil, Holy Thursday and Mother's Day.
Each Christmas season the young people and their parents are invited to participate in a special Advent program. These programs are always a favorite among the children. In the years past the children have made Advent wreaths, books, stained glass windows, ornaments, puppets, masks and magnet decorations. Children participate with their parents in discussions about Jesus' birth.
While singing with the Youth Chorus during the Christmas Season, Saint Gregory's young people take part in song. They are active lectures as well at the Liturgies. There is also an organizeed Dance Guild at the church. It is open to girls grades five through twelve and they instructed on the elements that make up a Sunday Liturgy as well as learning about a prayful artform. Young people at Saint Gregory's have many opportunities to participate in the Liturgies.
