The new order of Christian furnerals forms a continuous ministry from the care of the sick to the person who has died and also to the bereaved survivors. Pastoral sensitivity, participation of the survivors in the rites and participation of the entire local community in the special moment are essential components involved. The new order of Christian Funerals retains, amplifies and clarifies the earier revisions and adds a demension of what pastoral experience has proven the best in the Rite. It makes clear what before might have been confusing and establishes a uniformity of action, while providing many options for prayer. If you need information regarding funeral services please call the rectory.
